Dan is Gas Safe registered and fits Viessmann, Alpha, Worcester and Vaillant as preferred brands, with manufacturer warranties from 5 to 13 years depending on the model. Most straight swaps are completed in a day.
A new boiler is the single biggest change most homes make to how warm they are and what they spend on heating. Dan surveys the property first, checks the existing pipework and radiators, and then recommends a boiler that actually suits the house rather than the one that happens to be on offer. Every installation is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and notified to Building Control.
Viessmann, Alpha, Worcester and Vaillant are the preferred brands because they hold up well and their parts are easy to get hold of. If you have a brand in mind that is not on that list, Dan will fit it. He will just be straight with you about how it compares first.
The work includes removing and disposing of the old boiler, any pipework alterations needed, a system flush and magnetic filter, fitting and commissioning the new appliance, and setting up the controls so the system runs at the right temperature. Prices start from £2,800 supplied and fitted, with a firm figure given after the survey.
Once the boiler is in, Dan runs through how it works, hands over the paperwork and registers the manufacturer warranty, which can run from 5 to 13 years depending on the brand and model. Annual servicing is available to keep that warranty valid and the boiler running as it should.

What brands of boiler do you install?
Viessmann, Alpha, Worcester and Vaillant are our preferred brands, but we will install other brands at the customer's request. Those four are preferred because they hold up well over time and spare parts are easy to source when they are eventually needed.
What is the length of warranty on a new boiler?
This can be anywhere from 5 to 13 years depending on brand and model. We register the warranty with the manufacturer as part of the installation and give you the paperwork. Keeping up the annual service is what keeps that warranty valid.
How much does a new boiler cost?
Boiler installations start from £2,800 supplied and fitted. The final figure depends on the boiler you choose, whether the position is changing, and what the existing pipework and controls need. You get a firm price after the survey, not a range.
How long does a boiler installation take?
A straightforward swap in the same position is usually a single day. Moving the boiler, changing the system type or upgrading pipework and controls takes longer, and we will tell you which yours is before you commit.
Do you take the old boiler away?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old appliance is included, and the work is notified to Building Control as part of the installation.
Can I pay in stages?
Payment terms are agreed in writing before work starts, and we are happy to talk through what suits you. Nothing is taken until you have a written quote you are happy with.
